Apparently the latest one is all up in its BotW/TotK-ness, so that sounds promising, but the 3DS ones are closest in vibes to a Level 5 game like Youkai Watch or Fantasy Life &c, so if that's your jam I say pursue.

Well, MonHun Stories is essentially How to Train Your Dragon with MonHun monsters, so at least one of them is your best friend, in a world you must defend. HOWEVER the art style runs the risk of cuteefying them to them to the extent it might trigger your don't kill the big animal reaction.
My first hot-take is that if Dungeons and Dragons is guitar tablature, then Mythy-B is like sheet music - it conveys the nuance of a piece with greater fidelity, but it's opaque as heck and essentially meaningless if you don't know how to parse it already.
I'm reading Mythic Bastionland in dribs and drabs at the moment, and I'm increasingly worried that the Hot New Thing is about to bounce off me.
A picture of an old curiosity shop with paintings outside.
Happy birthday to Betty Boo. Here's a reminder of the time she rapped with Public Enemy in the McDonalds at Shepherd's Bush back in 1987 (look out for the unimpressed manager!)
oh my I did not realise that Dio looked like that.
Related: The video for Rainbow in the Dark is full of wonderful shots of 1980s Soho and incredibly Monty Python coded.
lofi sprites: commando, robot (round top part on a base), skeleton, evil otto (smiling ball).

Is RTB13 the yellow box that came out around the Waaagh/Ere We Go books time period? If so, I think being able to bulk out an army with 30+ (very convertible) little guys for a tenner overrides basically any concerns I might have about the quality
I like how Ishihara says that more than a thousand Pokemon have been discovered, like Pokemon are revealed from the primal pixel bedrock by Game Freak, but were always there.
So is American Idiot when Greenday ascended to rock royalty, or did it happen beforehand?
For some reason I always listen to game music on Fridays. Game Music Friday I, and only I, call it. Anyway my playlist served me up this chill jam, please enjoy: youtu.be/lA9anqx8I0Y?...
I wonder if Humble know how much psychic damage they're causing the people of the UK via the music on their latest (ubiquitous) YT add sounding so similar to late-90s/early-2000s supermarket jingle?
If you've only just noticed through having read this, I'm sorry.
The latest Predator just looks like Spiny Norman to me.
Went to see Stewart Lee's latest show tonight, which was delightful.
We booked the tickets last year when Mar was in hospital, and I can think of no better way to celebrate being alive.
My favourite streaming service will be whichever one that sets "watch the credits" as the default.
Drop an album that was important to you when you were nineteen.
Did I fabulate that the 90s dance track "Poing" had a voice sample actually saying the word poing? Like in a sort of Teutonic accent? Is that a different song than this one? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqD1...
yeah, I was kinda counting on that for Saturday, but now we gotta find something else to fill our days
At //the theatre// tonight friends. Never fails to make me feel all cultured and shit.
It's weird to think that Warhammer 40,000 Roguetrader was the same year as Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. I can't quite calibrate that.
Does anyone know the way?
Shindig is part of the No ICE in Minnesota bundle on itch - Go grab an absolute ton of games and do a little to help our friends standing up against evil.
Took the day off to watch the Superbowl without being spoiler'd. A weird year of football led to a much more thrilling finale than last year, I'm enjoying my ability to parse what's going on improving as we watch more NFL, and two strong defenses battling each other was really fascinating. Sports!
Moorcock suggests Jones is weak willed for being hypnotised, tells the UFO expert that research into hallucinogens is more valid and when asked about the novelisation of The Great Rock n Roll Swindle, which he is on to plug says "I did it for the money and don't remember anything about it" 😘
On Youtube, there is an episode of the TV show Paperbacks, presented by Terry Jones. The kind of awkward arts show that Python parodies constantly but has long been completed absent from UK telly. Michael Moorcock is on this episode, and he is very clearly high AF and tenuously present. It's great!
As we listened along to Michael Palin's diaries, we're re-watching Monty Python and Python adjacent media. It is fascinating and wild
