Because I've distanced myself this year aside from a handful of peers. Fair warning, though im shy, and it takes me a while to get comfortable.
This is also why i left Facebook last year. The author community on there is so toxic and atrocious. I just can't.
The authors I've met on Facebook in author groups hate it and look down on anyone that does it.

Im an author outside of all this and in the author community, fanfic writing is frowned upon... so i have to ignore the guilt i feel writing within another IP.
I need to do better about posting outside of IG. Ive neglected bsky and tiktok so bad but dont have the spoons and motivation to post.
