To put it very bluntly and self interestedly, if you don't want millions of hungry refugees arriving in the decades to come because their countries have become too hot or disaster prone to live in or grow food in, climate policy is a security issue. And it just might prevent some disasters here.
Every election, we also hold a vote for the kids to decide what's for dinner.
We do this to explain democracy (you don't always get what you want, you always get your say) & to expose the kids to how easy it is to vote.

The number one question I get asked at the doors is why I'm running.
There's lots of things I care about - healthcare, childcare, a strong innovation & post secondary sector, social supports, growing our economy, making housing more affordable.
But why I'm running? This is why.
