Exactly. SS costs the government $0 because WE pay for it. If they try to cut benefits, its because they're STEALING OUR $ again to give to billionaires. They've been lying about the cost of SS for more than 50 years. Why does the 1st Amendment cover lying? I've never understood that.
Some of these companies (looking at you Walmart and McDonald's) are the real welfare queens. Forcing employees to turn to public assistance because they aren't full-time or work in right to work states so FT doesn't count and the billionaire's company doesn't have to pay a living wage or insurance
This reminded me of a scene from the Alice Walker book, Temple of My Familiar. A character feels themselves become theone with their teeth on the leg of a starving child chained to an overflowing table. May we never be that person eating another #eattherich
