the boimler/mariner dynamic has a lot in common with the chidi/eleanor dynamic, i don’t think i even need to defend that one lol

so the good place and lower decks are two of my all time favorite shows and i’ve seen both dozens of times. i’m noticing some parallels between chidi and boimler - not least the ways both eventually achieve amazing character development by literally becoming the best version of themselves. i love it

ransom has come a long way, but i do kinda miss when he was scared of you, that rumor about you being an undercover black ops agent had its advantages
