This world has just gotten so tough to deal with. For my own mental health, it's probably for the best to unplug for a while.
I think in the meantime I'll scroll through a custom reddit feed I made. Nothing but the most wholesome places posting yuri. There's absolutely no chance of seeing something that'll make my day worse.
Also gonna play more games when I feel that urge to scroll. Tetris has been great for that 💕
I wanna try and take a break from Bluesky. The depressing news, along with troubles in my real life, end up leaving me upset and hopeless when I go here.
I hope we can recreate the internet into a place that serves us all, rather than a few billionaires. This social media model just isn't working.
PS1 was quite a vibe. Loved the Pre-rendered backgrounds, FMVS, and high quality 2D games.
Only gripe is the wobbly textures, which wasn't an issue on N64. Thankfully modern emulation lets you get rid of the texture warping, really letting the artwork underneath shine 💕
That's amazing. It bothers me so much when the camera jumps back instantly after being done colliding with a wall, super jarring.

I loved playing Xenosaga Ep. 1 on my launch model PS3, had all the PS2 HW inside. Def a console I wanna explore more of, since I didn't grow up with one.
PS2 was unique in how cheap particles and transparencies were. It was really good at that flooding the screen w/ effects at a decent framerate.
Take it from us: we used to stay way too plugged in, focused on every piece of bad news like a hawk, and we’re still fighting our way back to a healthier body because the sheer stress caused legit medical problems. Limit your exposure to the news, see a doctor, and go do something that relaxes you.
Fellow trans folks: you are not morally obligated to stay plugged into current events. If you find yourself in a near-constant state of panic, mute certain terms, mute or unfollow accounts that end up feeding said panic, or log off for a while.
Don’t let the internet fool you. I was at a protest for trans kids yesterday an HOUR south of Seattle, and it was HUGE. And there was a cacophony of drivers beeping in support.

Most unpleasant stuff I see on this place is thirst trap men showing their groin, or weird democrat (not actually left/progressive) bots trying to hype up that transphobe gavin newsom.
X axis inversion felt weird but comfortable when I was growing up. It was only until I revisited these games as an adult that something felt off.
I could feel my brain turning in circles trying to rationalize both methods. Thankfully these days, on PC axis inverting is super easy with Steam Input.

sometimes i talk to people who think it's weird i remember things and can often dig up proof of the things i remember. like they'll just say something on vibes and I'll go "no, it happened like this, here's the receipts" and they get really mad about it and act like I ~shouldn't~ remember things
