I think it's both hilarious and sad whenever I hear talk about people saying their partners are jealous over fictional characters they have a crush on
Usually, relationships like that don't last long and that's a sign of big insecurity
I know romantic love has created a distorted idea about how the only thing that matters in life is your partner and you can't have eyes for anyone else, but we need to destroy that idea.
You can love fictional characters, you can love your friends, you can even feel attraction for other people too!
Jealousy is already a big issue to deal with in a relationship, but if it involves fictional characters, it's a bigger NOPE.
If you can't share what you like with your partner and their response isn't to send you fanart of your fictional crush, it's not there 🚩
