Seria útil ter imagens de como fica, mas chuto que o problema pode ser resolvido se vc aumentar a tolerância (considera mais espaço para colorir / diminui a binariedade na seleção de onde colorir) e o area scaling (aumenta em N pixels a área selecionada para colorir)
