Thank you for understanding our situation. For us, we feel under attack and even if that product were on the shelves, it would be left there forever more. We have had riots when our team has lost at hockey. Can you imagine what we might do if we lost our sovereignty?
As an "average" Canadian on the ground, I can say that the mood here is F* that guy. F* the ones who voted for him. F* the ones who didn't vote. And for the rest of the Americans, Vive la résistance.
It took them way too long to embrace the e-business model. Canadian Tire and London Drugs seem to have figured out how to serve Canadian customers a lot faster than HBC. This happened to a lot of department stores and they could have changed course at any time in the last 20 years.
