Lovely to see you!
Lovely to see you!
A glorious and joy-filled Easter Day at Tewkesbury Abbey yet also a poignant day for me, as I leave this sacred place which has held me for so long to go on placement for three months as part of my ordination training.
Now to pack for Easter School!
Itβs been a real privilege to lead a Lent Course at Tewkesbury Abbey these last 6 weeks. Gently guiding a group of 14 lovely people through Lectio Divina & reflective activities based around themes from the BBC drama βBrokenβ has really affirmed in me why I am doing what I am doing.
God is good.
Itβs been a long term, and a tough week. Good to sit out in the garden with a glass of wine and watch the sun set and the stars begin to appear.
From vast skies, pretty shells, tiny starfish to aurora borealisβ¦ isnβt creation amazing?
βRejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice!β
Thereβs always something so exciting about lighting an Advent candle for the first timeβ¦
βHark what a sound, and too divine for hearing,
stirs on the earth and trembles in the air!
Is it the thunder of the Lord's appearing?
Is it the music of his people's prayer?β
