He’s showing off his pitching form to the reader.

“Hey… why the long face, Az?” Yuwen asked, rolling to his tummy. He grinned and began poking at Asriel’s side again.

“Everyone is ticklish, dude!”

Yuwen chuckled and rolled off of Asriel, giggling himself as he lay on the floor.

“So, the monster is ticklish~!” he declared, smirking.

Oh this sucked… Yuwen had to lift the mood somehow! As they entered he spotted some pillows and got an idea. Quickly, kicking off his cleats, he ran and grabbed a pillow and swung it, smacking Asriel in the face!

“Ha! Pillow fight!” he shouted with a laugh, hoping to cause a distraction.

Yuwen froze, his heart began aching to the point where he began rubbing his chest.

“Oh… th-that’s… AHEM!” he coughed. “I’m sorry Az… I….”

“Ah, mom and dad live separately. I get that… One of my friend’s has folks that aren’t together…”

Yuwen collected his glove and walked alongside Asriel as he guided them back to his mother’s home.

“Your folks won’t mind, right?” he asked, walking with his arms lifted and folded behind his head.

Yuwen grinned and stepped away, crossing his arms to strike the coolest, “cool guy” pose he could.

Yuwen’s papercraft heart began to ache for Asriel. Losing a friend, then not having a true one since… He couldn’t imagine.

“Hey, I don’t know exactly how to get back home… think your folks would mind if I stay over? We can have, like, a proper sleepover!”

Happy indeed, and it warmed Yuwen’s heart. He threw his arm around Asriel, pulling him close.

“Hey! You and I? We’re best friends now! Got it? I got your back Asriel!”

Yuwen pocketed his hands and rocked on his heels. “I’d vouch for ya! Monster or no, you got talent, dude!”

Yuwen’s chuckled harmonized with Asriel’s. He stopped teasing his new friend and ruffled the fur atop his head.

“It shows! Hey! You should join our team!”

Yuwen reached around to adjust his hat. “Y-you could say that!” he said.

He chuckled and ran up to Asriel, playfully punching and poking the monster in the sides.
