I got some of these fabulous Tulip quilting needles for hand finishing work, like the cuffed hem attachment on these pants that I made for myself. Heavens, they do make it easy to pick up just the right number of layers on fussy cross stitches. #sewing #couture

Actually, that's a great idea. The more mending I see (or items on thrift store racks), the more I realize how few people know how to properly use or maintain any textile (clothing, upholstery, or even curtains). It's like a lost art now. 🤔
That is so smart. Currently fixing clothes for a client and the tucks all around the armscye/sleeve seam are making me wish others believed seam allowances should be flat. :( The sleeves aren't damaged so they don't have to be mended (which is good), but it just looks so...shabby... on the inside.
That's never fun... but it does add to the drama when you get to describe the quilting process later.
That makes it even more special. ⭐
