I got an idea and made a new level for the first time in 3 months. So much fun making something new. What will I do with this level? No idea.
Well, I had to make a 1.2 anyway because the game would crash in a couple spots on some emulators. New version is moderated now!
Happy to announce that Sauna Mario World 2 1.1 is finally uploaded to the waiting hacks section! The changelog is comically long, I tried my best to make sure 1.2 won't be needed. Thanks to all players!
Now that I don’t have a romhack in progress to pour endless hours into, I’ve actually played some new games. Beat Spelunky today. It’s amazing how careful you have to move in that game. Very fun once you learn to dodge stuff.

I actually started using library services this year and read more than ever before. I’m also about to finish two books that add up to about 1000 pages, so that’s like 10 pages a day on average!
These castle walls are a nightmare to set up right, and some corner tiles still don't make sense. Does the custom extended tileset on SMWC make it better?

Anyway, for the past 22 months I’ve been working on Sauna 2. It’s been in playtesting for a while now, and I’m ready to drop a trailer and release date for it next week. It's just a silly Mario hack but it's a special project for me. I'm excited to see everyone’s reactions to it!
In the past year I also coordinated a Peggle Nights “hack” called Peggle Fevers which was released about a month ago. It was a fun project I’m really proud of, and a new experience for me making something like that together with over 10 people.
Around the same time I started streaming Peggle speedruns. I ended up holding the any% world record for over three years while the Peggle community grew from a handful of people to 500+. In late 2023 I decided to take a break from grinding runs and haven’t gone back to it.
Hey friends! I'm a bit of a lurker in the SMW community so I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a Finnish guy who got into playing hacks in 2020 and pretty quickly started tinkering with Lunar Magic. Almost two years later my first hack, Sauna Mario World, was ready. I was overjoyed by the reception.
