I love how my dayshift counterpart calls me on my way into work to "Welcome back to the dumpster fire!" And proceeds to tell me everything that's going on. 🤣 I'm glad to know my job is consistent with the nonsense that happens. At least I know my role is secured no matter what.

This man might have been a nuisance in the ER, but he also clearly needed some help and didn't belong in jail. The officer was able to get EMS over, and they escorted him back to the ER side.

Idk what that guy was going thru, but he clearly needed a little kindness and for someone to listen to him

Then I went to the cafeteria to get this guy, who is clearly having a tough time, something to eat, and a hot coffee. It's not cold here, but chilly. I stepped outside and gave him the food, then told him the officer was there to help him.

I listened to his story and told him to let me talk to the security inside and come up with a solution. Once inside, the security officer told me what happened, and the local pd stopped and asked if it's the person they were looking for. I showed them where to go.

Me at work, driving to drop off a gift bag to a coworker at the hospital. Immediately gets flagged down by a guy with no shoes on, asking for help and having an elaborate story.

Turns out he was kicked out of the ER, and local PD was called to find him bc he somehow snuck back in the hospital.
