Rep. Omar: Renee Nicole Good's deep love for community drove her to stand up for her immigrant neighbors. ICE's reckless actions have taken a mother from 3 children, a partner from a wife, and inflicted unfathomable pain on our community. We will not stop until we achieve justice and accountability.

Lombardo doesnβt represent working class Nevadans: He knows this, and that is why heβs campaigning to the ultra wealthy of Nevada.
Lombardoβs only accessible behind a paywall: While Nevadans are left in fear of losing access to healthcare and plead for answers, Lombardo can only be reached at gated Country Clubs or at roundtables hosted inside
mansions. Lombardoβs attention will cost you $5,000 a night. x.com/07Cat31/stat...
Lombardoβs absence: Whether that is to community lead town halls, where working class Nevadans sought answers from elected officials or to his own presser regarding the statewide hack, Lombardoβs a no show when it comes to Nevadaβs needs.

While Nevadans struggle with high costs, Lombardo is busy schmoozing millionaires at country clubs. Who is he really working for? Certainly not us. #NVLeg #LombardoSucks
And stay tuned for a Nevada Day food drive! We're gonna do what Lombardo and Amodei won't: TAKE CARE OF NEVADANS!

The Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress have refused to extend the tax credits that have made health coverage affordable for people under the Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, tax breaks for the wealthy and big corporations have been extended. Currently, 90% of marketplace enrollees receive the tax credit. This includes small businesses, contractors, and self-employed individuals. The tax credits for the Affordable Care Act will expire in December. Without them, millions of people will face an increase in their insurance premiums or simply wonβt be able to afford their insurance coverage.
A government shutdown happens when Congress fails to pass or the president refuses to sign a spending bill to fund the federal government. Typically, Congress temporarily solves the issue by passing a continuing resolution, which provides short-term funding while they negotiate a long-term solution. Since 1990, every shutdown has been ended by a continuing resolution. The risk of a government shutdown is not new. There have been 10 shutdowns since the budget process was established in 1976.
Congress has a choice: protect healthcare for millions of Americans, or fund tax breaks for big corporations and billionaires. If they canβt agree, the government will shut down, leaving workers unpaid, closed services, and millions at risk of losing coverage. Meanwhile, the wealthiest walk away with more.
While families are struggling to keep up with rent, groceries, and medical bills, Trump and GOP representatives like Amodei are cutting over a trillion dollars from Medicaid and Medicare, while giving handouts to big corporations and the top 1%. #governmentshutdown

I haven't been on Bluesky in, like, FOREVER! So I need to catch up on news. Here's a statement from the Trump Administration on the recent* act of senseless political violence: abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...
*I know it was a few weeks ago. But here's Trump responding to a political act of violence.

β
Short-Term Tax Breaks, Long-Term Pain: The billβs limited deductions expire in a few years, offering no lasting help for working families.
β
Cuts to Critical Support: Reductions to Medicaid, SNAP, and other safety net programs leave families more vulnerable in times of need.
β
Over 100,000 Nevadans could lose Medicaid or other essential healthcare coverage.
β
Cuts impact children, seniors, and low-income families across the state.
β
Higher Out-of-Pocket Costs: Families may face rising premiums, deductibles, or be forced to delay care.
Job Losses: Over 21,000 clean energy jobs in Nevada are at risk due to cuts in tax credits.
Investment Slashed: Billions in clean energy projects and investments are threatened or canceled.
Taxes Still Apply: Tips, overtime, and Social Security are still taxed for most Nevadans despite GOP promises.
Temporary & Limited Relief: The few deductions offered are short-term and phase out for many middle-income workers.
Last week, GOP leaders on the Ways & Means Committee take a victory lap in Las Vegas. Now Nevada families face higher costs, job losses, and healthcare cuts. The Big Beautiful Bill isnβt a winβitβs a warning. #NVPolitics #BigBeautifulBill #BigBeautifulBacklash

Pres. Trump claims to support Dreamers, but we know that's a lie.
He killed bipartisan legislation for a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, and now his admin. is using cruel tactics to pressure DACA recipients to leave the only country they've ever known.

Free meals? Vetoed. Homeless students? Ignored. $61M in school funding? Gone. Thanks, Lombardo. #nvleg #StopTheCuts #ClawsOut #Resist
Lombardo didnβt just veto free school mealsβhe also let $61 MILLION in federal education dollars vanish. Then told schools ONE DAY before the deadline. Heβs not incompetent. Heβs intentional. #LombardoVeto #nvpol
Nevada schools lost $61 MILLION in federal funding thanks to the dismantling of the Department of Educationβbacked by Trump and Lombardo. And schools were only given 1 DAY'S NOTICE. This is cruelty, not policy. #nvleg #SaveOurSchools#LombardoNT
