Certo, I must be. Once the garden is overrun it is difficult to recuperate. But I do not need to tell you that. Still, I am too old to be taking any chances.
Pest control is the key to ensuring your garden can thrive. It seems obvious, but it is not uncommon to mistake a pest for something innocent. Extermination always does the trick.
I have lived a long time, I have seen my fair share of siblings who left home or relationships because of the abuse they faced. It is not easy, and we should never judge those who stay. To be alive is difficult, but if we band together to support one another, we will endure. We will thrive.
If you have someone in your life so controlling that they supervise who you speak to and punish you for it, I recommend running as fast as you can. That is not friendship, that is not love, that is abusive behavior. If it is not yet safe to run, find allies to help you. Get out as soon as possible.
Never lose hope, even when you feel truly hopeless. Outlive those who wish to harm you, survive in spite of them. You are likely angry, afraid, distressed— feel those feelings, you are entitled to them. But we will survive, we must.
