Bet it was a bit chilly down there, nice birds worth it.

Powdered Quaker and these Tawny Pinion's in the Broadwey Dorset trap.
Nice to know they are still in the valley. In my youth I knew where they nested and could be seen all year round. I have let you know the details.
Dotted Chestnut the best from the Broadwey, Dorset trap.
Well done on the Pipits and all those Redshanks.
I have had a lot of D fagella's in my traps lately, not had any of the dark-form so far. That is certainly a lot of CG's.
21 of 9 last night at Broadwey, Dorset. Early Grey the only FFY.
Got mine fired up here at Broadwey Dorset, that moon could be a problem tonight.
Acleris literana from last nights Broadwey, Dorset trap.
Just had 2 Peacock's through my Broadwey Dorset garden, with a Red Admiral flying around the area.
Getting even more behind you now with that BP, nice to get a Kingfisher. Stuck at home so probably missing any local butterflies.
So twice as many species than I have had here, T-s Q another that joins the list of "not had". Silverlake a bit muddy, I wonder why. Well done on the birds.
You did better than here, D-s Pug and Dot Border was all I had, did have a Peacock butterfly through the garden earlier.
Peacock butterfly through my Broadwey, Dorset garden.
Well done on the SM, think the Song Thrush must of been singing whilst you were out. Trap only had a HC, just one trap again tonight.
Your numbers on a par with mine, the AY, ON and PP have not got here yet, March and CD got to me last night.
Well done on the Butterflies, Clouded Drab seems to be avoiding me along with March Moth.
You certainly outdid my 31 of 11. smart looking Beetle and could you point the T Pinion and a Herald this way. It appears we are both missing March Moth.
Diurnea fagella from last nights Broadwey, Dorset trap.
Well done on the costella, all I had was a HC, might give the very wet field a go tonight.
Cracking images.
Well done on the DB, nice to see the Woodlark. Trap ready for tonight, more in hope than expectation.
Not bothering tonight, maybe tomorrow, nice start for you.
Nice to know it still happens, it stopped in the late 60's after Wessex Water ran a test drilling in an area below Majiston Watercress Beds. I was brought up on Langford Farm and had to walk through water to get to the road, it used to flow all the down the lane, used to see the butterflies.
Is that water running through that field on the right in pic one.
Did wonder which patch you would be at today. A "flock" of CE's with the sheep and a Sibe to keep you happy. Early Thorn from this mornings frosty trap.
This playing dead Early Thorn was in last nights Broadwey, Dorset trap.
Bet it was nice to get out, without fear of getting soaked, that is a lot Gorse Shields. Trap only had two CQ,'s last night.
Nice that the Comma is still there. nothing in my shed. Did you see the Oak Beauty from last nights trap.
Always worth having the Broadwey, Dorset trap out when the only moth is an Oak Beauty.
