Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. Weโre screwed.

Arclight - first in a new class of fusion drive spaceships.

Wide shot of Arclight and its escorts, with Vesta in the background.
2024 wasn't the best year ever, so let's stay hopeful that 2025 won't be much worse.
To say farewell to 2024 and end it on a high note - a new ship for my #EMEZ setting - Arclight, first in a new class of fusion drive #spaceships, conducting tests near Vesta, with an escort of missile frigates.
A little bit of a fresh EMEZ lore:
Nansen United's Deep Space Reconnaissance and Intelligence Division imaged a large vessel (approx. 380m in length) under construction in Sun-Ceres L2 point.

Finally cast in the voice role of my lifetime, NEVER topping this in the rest of my years, thank you.
Color photo of a longhaired ginger tuxedo cat lying on a bathroom floor, casually surveying an exuberantly shredded roll of toilet paper strewn across the floor. It should also be noted that that toilet has a mottled yellow carpeted lid and floor mat which appear to be on top of a brown carpeted floor.
Proud. ๐ Photo from my collection, ca. 1970s.

Oops oops oops Jill Stein, in a last-ditch effort to peel off more voters, has declared her support for Israel!
So much for "voting against genocide", eh, Green Party dipshits?
Oil painting of a lovely young white woman in a white bonnet and dark blue dress. She looks directly at the viewer with a sly smile and cradles a cute shorthaired black cat in her arms.

Honestly same
Black and white photo of a Terry little shorthaired white cat sitting up on some botanical print fabric - I honestly can't tell if it's a person's dress of some kind of upholstery. The cat is very dramatically lit from the left side making it glow brightly on one side while it's deep in shadow on the other. The stark lighting is reminiscent of the trademark visuals in film noir cinema.
That part in the film noir thriller where the cat freaks everyone out by staring at something in the corner and then it just sits down and starts licking its butt. 1938. www.nb.no/items/3aa4b4...
I do gotta say the evil fucking prism of doom and hate is a good move for the madison rally. Really puts it across who's the bad guys.
Seriously though it looks like some fucking demented concept art from some cyberpunk setting.
*Which* Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden? was not a question I ever anticipated having to ask.

Sundog in the sky against white and convoluted cirrus clouds.
It looks like this sun dog is hovering over a blue gas giant, and I am here for it.
I used to hate static on dark pictures during my film school days. I felt they inaccurately capture reality as we see it. But now, I find it beautiful. Some digital cameras render the images without, but I have turned this off for my camera.
The flaws of tech feel warm with time, as we look back.
So it's just twisn't
