I love when I get to school my therapist on how the government wants to kill me this week and she's like "nahhh surely it isn't all that." Then she looks and is like ohhhhh.
I gotta find a trans therapist.

I don't suppose anyone out there knows how to get Mistr to stop deadnaming and misgendering me, eh? I've been trying to get them right since summer 2024 and they don't seem to care.
Normalize accidentally spinning 3 hour b2b sets with your friends.
@datadoghq.com just fyi guys every time your AI support agent wastes a bunch of my time with hallucinations and failed suggestions that go around in circles, it makes me want to find another monitoring solution
can someone braid my hair and very gently explain everything to me
Iβm calling it. The CDJ-2000NXS2 is the new SL-1200Mk2.
I just gotta say βbanned for sale from Discogsβ is the biggest load of bs Iβve ever heard of. Weβre apparently no longer allowed to sell old bootlegs to each other. π
This post is about Work That Punk but also the Danny Howells mix of Dark and Long is banned and plenty others. Wtf
Ah yes. The card I bought a whole play set of for Maxx yet have only lived long enough to play once before being immediately destroyed. π
Itβs a super pretty card though!
I just realized the only thing I use Bluesky for is #fabtcg news
The only time sink has been disruption for me is when I use it and the next card is worse.
Much like adding stripes and wings to old beater cars, adding foil to commons is good for at least 5 β¦ something.
Looks like Night Tapes is coming to Austin. Unfortunately on Halloween so I canβt go due to playing a set.
Probably just as well bc with my luck theyβd play Leave it All Behind, Mike and Iβd ruin my makeup.

In a utopian alternate reality, the library format used by dj flash drives has been standardized and venues run equipment made by a variety of manufacturers, not just Pioneer/AT.
You know, kind of like how records tend to work on any turntable.
Burning your popcorn is a good way to make sure you donβt eat the whole thing.
Or at least it helps.
Sometimes I post the most unhinged shit on Reddit and think about how thereβs more than enough info on there to doxx me, and the only thing standing in the way is the flimsiest of auto generated usernames.
But are we suuuuuure he wasnβt trans?
Also not me getting impatient and eating it frozen.
Not me over here in my bedroom thawing a frozen uncrustable with a heating pad.
Oooo transphobic, I was not aware of that. Thatβs a deal killer for me. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Finally, after all these years, I think I finally properly *get* Stoneproof - Everythingβs Not You.
Maybe thatβll get back in the trance rotation now.
Records are for playing. Each time you listen to a record, itβs a unique experience because each play wears both the media and stylus. You will never hear the same record exactly the same way twice.
Thatβs what makes them special to me. Records have a lifespan and I get to be a part of it.
As a DJ, Iβve always felt like records are for playing. For me, theyβre tools. Theyβre meant to be played. I used to often buy two of the ones I liked best specifically because I knew one was going to get destroyed by cue burn.
Thatβs obviously an extreme case but my point still stands.
Thatβs fine, of course. I have records I only look at (a flexi disc made as a rave promo and a 1/33 lathe cut The Black Dog 7β β *flexxxx* π).
I just wish more of the new buyers were buying them for listening.
New records *do* tend to sound pretty clean these days.
Iβm guessing neither, tbh.
These are a product for people that like to look at records, the people that expect all records to be colorful and hung on the wall as art.
So who is the target audience for these adorable tiny records?
Is it the absolute beginner with the cheapest turntable they could find?
Or is it the intermediate-to-advanced consumer that would normally be more interested in playing a 12β (or even 7β) that sounds better?
Fully manual decks tend to either be low quality suitcase decks (lots of Crosley mess) or more expensive stuff meant for people whoβve had more experience with vinyl.
Tiny 3β-4β vinyl is going to be tricky to play for a lot of people.
Automatic turntables will no play these things under normal conditions. At best youβll get a few seconds and it will reset the arm.
This makes them unplayable on one of the most accessible but good beginner decks: the AT-LP60X.
Ok so artists at now releasing tracks on 3β-4β vinyl. Cute right? Itβs the music you love on little baby records!
Except how does one listen to these?
