In 60 days or so, we get the pieces back for the writers to review to make sure we didnβt mess their piece up. Then some other work by the publisher, and we have a publish date.
Expect the book to release after the new year. Obviously, Iβll announce it when itβs available.

As far as I can tell, this is the first living history of that generation. This book is focused on tech comm but the next books will be other professions, with a focus on technology.
Now, the publisher does their stuff and we wait.

This period is especially interesting because it includes the PC revolution through the dot com boom through the birth of the internet as the everyday world, available on smartphones in nearly every corner of the world. Additionally, the field changed from predominately male to predominately female.

Technical Communication as a field has changed over the last 50 years. Women in Technical Communication is an anthology of the self-told stories of women who did the technical communication work from 1975 to today.
Thatβs us but we may not travel much at all. Probably not internationally, with a possible exception of Italy this fall. Weβre more interested in stockpiling moneyβ¦ it seems smarter.
Yeah. Weβre stocking on the things we use all the time or were thinking about and know the tariffs are goi g to increase the price. And then shutting down discretionary spending again.
