Ah yeh that'll do it
Why never? Surely as steam engines go thats one of the more simple ones to keep going right?

The big project continues...
Also, hereβs Standard Class 4 Tank Number 80151.
Obviously you need to invest in Lego counselling hampers.
Salamanca on some tracks in what looks to be a PS2 render
Salamanca looking away from camera, probably moody. Also with a PS2 low poly vibe to the background.
This week, I have mostly been rendering Blenkinsop Rack Locomotives.
Project Century update: Done nothing. Had the morbs. Will probably hyperfocus on some random evening and a bunch of new vehicles will appear.
Objects in mirror are closer than they appear
A position earned!
Putting all this effort into Project Century is fun and all, but will people really play Transport Fever in 1800 with very primitive steam engines?
Loving the purple engine!
I have finally updated my BETA version of Project Century. Want to play the mod before everyone else? Get on my Patron and support this absolutely bonkers idea!
Which incident specifically because this could align with a few things
I don't claim any effort or anything. It takes absolutely no skill to do this.
Making the models, taking the screenshots in the first place and framing etc
That's the effort bit. It's literally just applying a filter.
Shove them into chatgpt with the prompt of "make it look realistic"
Forrester 2-2-0 entering a platform. Still no idea where that guy is going.
Pennsylvania Q2 in the low sun. Lighting makes sense because it's an actual 3D engine.
Crampton and Sturrock at a station
SS Napoleon on some still TpF2 waters.
Here are the original four screenshots.
They still look nice. Proud of the boat one.
Forrester 2-2-0 entering a very TpF2 looking platform. Where is that guy walking to?
A Pennsylvania Q2 in the sunset... If the sun is there though I'm not sure what's lighting this side of the locomotive...
A Crampton and a Sturrock early in the morning. Lighting makes more sense this time.
My Nelson model at sea. This actually looks really nice. Not the very TpF2 town in the distance!
Four more enhanced Transport Fever screenshots, featuring my models.
This is how TpF2 looks in my head when I play π
I'm not claiming any effort here btw. I know this is lazy but I'm just having fun.. already spent hours making the mods as it is.
Original screenshots to follow.
Oh that Midland Mainline takes me back!
So I messed up my version control with Project Century and kinda broke the mod.
Was going to release a new Patron BETA today but looks like I'm spending my time bug fixing. May have one for tonight but it's looking flakey.
Using it as an enhancer to human produced material is probably it's best use as a tool
Introduce yourself with five gigs you've been to:
OMD Reunion
OMD Metroland
Ultravox
Midge Ure
Howard Jones
Yeah that sounds about right
I realise that this may lose me favour or followers, and I respect that.
I had a staunch anti-ai standpoint until recently, but I think I need to learn acceptance and learn to use this technology as a tool to aid in creativity than something to pretend doesn't exist.
This one looks okay, but it spawned another lamp out of the aether. Just sharpened up and added some kind of filter to TpF2.
This is my favourite of the three, and I'll probably use this prompt again.
TpF2 screenshot of my American 4-4-0 model
A generative image of the same screenshot, but at night. Note how the model thought the ends of the cylinders were lamps.
Another one, note how it thought the cylinders were lamps. Obviously human intervention is still needed in the process, thank goodness.
Original TpF2 screenshot featuring my Stirling Single mod
A generative models reinterpretation of the same screenshot
There are many opinions about image manipulation technology, mostly to do with consent, training data and human involvement.
Despite that, I have fed one of these models some of my own TpF2 screenshots featuring my own 3D models to see what happened. Feel free to hate this.
These are the results:
Intrigued, I look forward
Midland Railway 156 perchance?
