📊 In Belgium, 81% of women do daily household tasks vs. 33% of men. In France, 71% of women report high mental load at work, rising to 81% for managers of 5+ people.

This invisible labour affects careers, pay, pensions, and wellbeing, from stress and burnout to long-term financial precarity. ⤵️

Women continue to carry a disproportionate "mental load" — managing household tasks, caregiving, and invisible workplace duties — alongside their paid jobs. ⤵️
