We continue organizing, resisting, and fighting to protect workers’ rights and dignity.

We continue organizing, resisting, and fighting to protect workers’ rights and dignity.
Always forward, never backward. ✊🏽
At this day and age, the work is harder. Governments are rolling back rights and attacking hard-won protections. Workers are under pressure — and that makes our organizing and planning more urgent than ever.
Leaders, representatives, allies and staff who work closely with #DomesticWorkers are together in one space — bringing experience, political clarity, and deep commitment to workers’ rights.
📍 We’ve started our strategic meeting retreat in Nairobi — a moment we hold every 5 years to reflect on the last five and collectively plan the next five.
Our commitment remains to peace, justice, #Democracy, safety, and the dignity of workers everywhere.
Venezuela does not stand alone – Peace, international law and human rights must prevail!
IDWF stands with the Venezuelan domestic workers and their families, both within Venezuela and across the region, who are directly affected by violence, displacement, and uncertainty.
We call for an immediate protection of civilians, full respect for #HumanRights guarantees and due process, and transparent information regarding the situation on the ground.
IDWF reaffirms the fundamental principles of self-determination and international law, within the framework of the United Nations system.
As a global federation representing #DomesticWorkers — many of whom are Venezuelan migrants across Latin America and beyond.
The use of military force and external intervention violates international law and poses grave risks to Venezuela’s sovereignty, regional peace and stability, and the protection of human rights everywhere.
The International Domestic Workers Federation (IDWF) expresses solidarity and condemns recent illegal military actions carried out by the United States in #Venezuela and stands in solidarity with the Venezuelan people during this critical and uncertain moment.
We stand with the Venezuelan people, both those living in Venezuela and those who have migrated, so they can soon enjoy the future they deserve: one rooted in #Democracy, safety, human rights, opportunities, and prosperity for all.
The #DomesticWorkers global movement calls for an immediate end to these illegitimate actions against 🇻🇪, full respect for #HumanRights, release of all those unlawfully detained, and an urgent return to dialogue through diplomatic channels within the framework of the
United Nations system.
This aggression, clearly driven by economic interests, not only violates Venezuela’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the Venezuelan people’s right to self-determination; it also undermines international law, regional peace and stability, and the multilateral system.
From being falsely accused to becoming a confident leader who recruits other #DomesticWorkers into Homeworkers’ Trade Union of Nepal, Sabitri Chaudhary’s story is a powerful reminder that when workers are organized, change becomes possible.
