My basic understanding of nusach belz is that it's basically nusach ashkenaz but has some things changed in a more nusach sefard way, but as to what I am never really sure.
Ok I think I know the answer to this, but I could not confirm it after searching the internet for a bit so I am coming to bluesky. In the weekday amidah, does nusach belz say דעה בינה והשכל or חכמה בינה ודעת? My assumption is the first, but the second could be used as a deviation from ashkenaz.
That is to say, I have no reason to believe that this dictionary is comprehensive, especially regarding older forms, and Wiktionary could just not have the entry.
A cursory look at a random online pa dutch dictionary and Wiktionary would say no, but it's possible.

Yeah I'm not sure if it's fair to read it this way or not, but it certainly seems consistent with the kind of thing I have seen before. It's probably some combination of that and some kind of abstract, general discomfort with the admission of apartheid for a lot of people. In this case, I can't say.
