Hey, I'm Andy Hollands - Simulation
Practitioner.
Simulated activity has been key throughout
my clinical career [Paramedic]. I'm
personally very motivated to assist with
training opportunities which benefit the
clinicians and all the future patients under
their care [train one - save many].
What I like most about the simulation service
delivery here at Salisbury Hospital is our
team based approach. We share a passion
for pushing the boundaries of user
experience and leave no stone unturned to
ensure participants are immersed and
ultimately have a safe experience.

I’m Claire Brattle, the Simulation Manager at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. I have worked in the NHS for over 30 years as a Registered General Nurse, with the majority of my clinical background rooted in critical care. Throughout my career, I have held several educational roles, all of which have reinforced my passion for teaching, learning, and supporting the development of others.
For the past 11 years, I have worked as a simulationist and have had the privilege of creating, shaping, and leading our Trust’s simulation-based education service. I am deeply committed to enhancing patient safety and improving clinical outcomes, and I firmly believe that simulation is a powerful and transformative modality for experiential learning.
I am incredibly proud to be part of a motivated, forward-thinking team that consistently strives to deliver high-quality, evidence-based education. Together, we aim to empower staff, strengthen teamwork, and drive continuous improvement across our organisation.

I have worked in the trust for 12 years. I’ve worked in ICU, Plastics and Burns as well as a few other wards and roles.,
I Joined the Sim team at the end of 2024,

I absolutely love my role within the team, I really enjoy bringing more realism to the scenarios, whether that be with some jewellery, the environment settings or some moulage.
