This is silly and false. The only operators of Tomahawk missiles are the U.S. Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Netherlands Navy and Royal Navy. Iran has no Tomahawk missiles. If it did, it’d have no way to launch them.

My kitchen skills are seriously underwhelming, but I will say that I make a damn good oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookie. I have no secrets but adding cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla makes these taste incredible.
Photo of gas pump prices ranging from 4.35 to 5.12 a gallon. Text reads, “please tell me again that women are too emotional for the job, and me too went too far.
Might be a good idea to fill up your tank soon.
Hello Kitty is hanging by a cherry blossom tree today, c/o this lovely pop-up card. 💕🍒🌸
For Women Writers Week, Jen Johans writes about Joan Cusack, and how she’s "crackling, high-voltage live wire who commits to scenes with an intensely funny mischievous ferocity."

🧵 Hey, men - because I'm talking to the men here. This isn't meant to be an attack, no worries. I just want you to know that most women you know right now aren't doing great. We're not. I'll use myself as an example. 1/x
Going to say the thing in noir that no one says but I believe we all secretly think, which is that our suspension of disbelief is most often pushed to the breaking point sometimes when the stunningly beautiful new “nightclub act” femme fatale starts to sing.
I need to hear your thoughts on some of these!
One of the most consistently funny & iconic performers to grace our screens and far too under-appreciated. Debbie is a work of art.

Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, “I do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.” My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
Here's me talking specifically about ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, which is my favorite film of last year.

Joan Cusack is a top-tier Now We're Talkin actor
"...So I-I killed. So I maimed. So I destroyed one innocent life after another. Aren't I a human being? Don't I yearn, and ache, and shop? Don't I deserve love... and jewelry?"
I was on the ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES junket, and watching Joan Cusack break down the beats of the "Ballerina Barbie" speech like she was dissecting a jazz number was the highlight of the day.
Which is really saying something, because Carol Kane and Anjelica Huston were also there.
Ad idea: A child in the hospital can’t get the oxygen tank they need covered on Medicaid, because there’s a moratorium on Durable Medical Equipment because of “fraud.”
Cut to economist on MS Now saying that 100k kids could have healthcare covered for a year for cost of planes just shot down in war.
One of my favorites!!
Thank you, Casey!
Great article by @filmintuition.bsky.social
Aw, Jed, thank you!
Great piece here on Joan Cusack by Jen Johans. She's never not one of the best things about a movie
When Nell & Chaz @ebertvoices.bsky.social invited me to write something again this year for Women Writers Week, I chose one of Roger Ebert’s favorite character actresses & mine, a woman who’s synonymous with Chicago, the great Joan Cusack! Read it here:

Oh, she would’ve been so great!
"Unexpected" for Joan Cusack in ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES is hilarious to those of us who adore the film. She ABSOLUTELY deserved another Oscar nomination for it.
That said, this is a lovely article and I agree with these choices.
