yes! check out His Motorbike, Her Island if you want a great romance story. i really love his movie The Discarnates as well, all about this one guy who sees the ghosts of his parents but believes they're stealing his life. a lot of people recommend his whole Anti-War Trilogy as well!

pokemon colosseum is such a beast pick, the atmosphere in that game is so evocative. i still have that jazz theme associated with team snag’em rattling around my head

if i could choose a tenth, i’d pick pokemon gen 2. first game i ever played and i have really fond memories of sharing a save with my mum. we’d take turns playing and raising pokemon together lol

it’s so awesome. on top of everything it has going for it visually, it has some of the most beautiful and mature character writing i’ve ever seen in a game
