I think about this essay all the time. So good.
Cutting research budgets is like saying you don't care about cancer or Alzheimer's or Parkinson's being cured within your lifetime. Science is happening so quickly. Outcomes are improving year over year. Diseases that used to be death sentences aren't anymore. And they want to just walk away.
Fighting the instinct to post through something and instead blowing up a group chat from every stage of life.
