The summer of no signings should have been the biggest red flag in the world that he was doing too much. Yes, we can argue for hours that Villa's ownership group scuttling the Grealish deal was a thing, but you have to target more than one player.
Levy was stretched far too thin.

Levy deserves some blame as well, but I feel like he gets a bit of exoneration. For years, he ran the club like it has to be as it grew. I'd say up until about 2015-ish, he was one of the best in the business.
Then the club got too big, and his style just didn't work.

ENIC, the Board, and our front office get most of the blame. The tone-deaf January message did not help, and hanging onto Thomas Frank for as long as the club did was egregious mismanagement.
Supporters aren't thrilled that it seems a dipshit from Florida is running the club. Rightfully so, too. /2
I'm kind of at a loss, and I have a feeling I'm not alone there with the Spurs supporter base.
The cost of the transfers in the last three or four years is staggering for the amount of wins this team has achieved in the last two seasons.
