My two metrics for knowing I’m decent at guitar:
1. My in laws let me play at family events.

I went through a phase of watching this one channel of a dude who forged swords and daggers out of scrap metal.
I’ve heard he began studying up immediately afterwards because he hated how bad he failed.
There’s a full bird exhibit at our local museum and me and my two year old go there basically every Friday. I have so many birds memorized now that I think I could go toe to toe with Brennan Lee Mulligan at this point.
