A distinction between high and low would imply that doing high magic entrails no practical/ tangible results or changes, which is silly.
Not to mention the fact that so much ancient magic combine both high and low in workings.
I think any act of magic is transformative. When doing thaumaturgy, results or “low” magic - the easiest avenue for change in the world of the practitioner is the practitioner themselves.
