Great match for Shonan Bellmare today, shame they couldn't play the same the rest of the season :( Great atmosphere at the Lemon Gas stadium too and the food outside was outstanding - 10/10 day, now desperately catching trains back to Korakuen to see NOAH 🤣

Not so surprised to wake up and find #yokohamafc have parted ways with Yomoda - the writing has been on the wall for weeks, shame it didn't work out though after last years promotion. Gonna be tough to turn things around but I think this change hopefully gives us a chance.

Yeah I was shocked that there was no VAR consultation. Its a shame we crumbled after the goal too as the 1st half was promising. We really need to find a good striker or possibly try starting both Solomon & Lukian as the current system isn't quite working despite some decent performances overall imo

🇯🇵 Kaili Shimbo picked up his first J1 assist of the season with a pinpoint cross to Solomon Sakuragawa, who headed home Yokohama FC’s second goal in a composed 2–0 win.

It was Sakuragawa’s second goal of the campaign, and all three of their wins this season have come at home with a clean sheet.

Despite the atrocious 1st half, great to see #yokohamafc win today. IMO Sakuragawa and Komazawa should be starting before Suzuki/Lukian on a regular basis though, both bring much more to the team. Yuri Lara should also be 1st name on the team sheet, dunno why he was dropped to start with #jleague

Just watched Paolo Sorrentino's newest movie, Parthenope - I know reviews aren't great for it and I agree on some points, however, imo the man can do wrong and nobody can/will ever capture the beauty of a place as well as Sorrentino does with Naples. Not his best but a solid 4 star movie.

Agreed, I don't think Marcelo Ryan fits the mould of what is needed, neither do the other options. With so many aging players in other positions too, turning the club around is gonna be difficult imo.

Final #jleague thought of the day - FC Tokyo are really gonna have a bad year at this rate. Defensively still an absolute mess and not much better going forward. I can't remember the last time Teruhito Nakagawa had a good game, why is he a constant starter anymore?
