Dawson’s Creek was my entire teenage years. I was obsessed in that unique teenage girl obsession way. I can’t believe James Van Der Beek has died. Cancer can absolutely fuck right off.

The NFL: overall, wish it wasn’t a thing. But props to them for green lighting Bad Bunny’s halftime show. Magnificent. Gives me a glimmer of hope

Today, on #HolocaustMemorialDay, we remember the 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution, as well as all those who have been persecuted during genocides worldwide buff.ly/tuqqfvy

The dog doesn’t let me go to many exhibitions anymore (such a tyrant) but I made it to this one and omg, so glad I did. Just exquisite. To see them next to each other & read about their respective careers. Top notch (I say this as the most basic art person you’ll ever meet).

I had the loveliest dream about someone I love who died & we sat on a sofa & chatted and caught up about life. It wasn’t like they weren’t here anymore, almost like they’d just been in another room. I truly believe their spirit is still with me & it’s nice to check in from time to time 🩢

Agatha Christie died on 12 January 1976 - 50 years ago today.

Did you know our Agatha Christie business papers comprise thousands of letters, incl. from the novelist herself?

Does anyone know of any large collections of correspondence between women covering the 1910s-1960s? I have surveyed a huge collection covering 30+ years of friendship and I’m wondering how unique it is?

Listening to my dog snoring next to me is so cute. Yet, if it were my husband, all I’d want to do is gently poke him in the ribs to make it stop. The dog is definitely spoilt.

I feel virtuous this year because last year my number one purchase was nice & spicy Nik Naks whereas this year, it’s red peppers. Not that I stopped buying Nik Naks, mind, so i probably can’t be too smug.

This year we chose to go somewhere smaller for our annual winter lights outing & @gilbertwhites.bsky.social did not disappoint! With the added bonus of the trail starting through the house & a focus on trying to minimise the impact of the lights on the environment with UV torches to use outside.
