In violation of international humanitarian law, Israel is firing #WhitePhosphorus on populated areas of Lebanon. This deadly chemical substance ignites when exposed to oxygen. It can burn flesh "through the bone" & "cause death or cruel injuries that result in lifelong suffering.โ #NoToWar #ecocide
War in Iran exposed that Europe failed to stand up to a business lobby that slowed decarbonisation
It committed a "strategic error of slowing a transformation necessary for security & independence....truth is that rearguard action on fossil dependence is bad for business"

America and Israel are in essence waging chemical war in Iran, filling the air above its metropolis with toxic smoke after lighting its oil storage depots on fire.

For the stuff used to make renewable energy & battery storage: studies show it will require hundreds of times less extraction than fossil fuel does & that much of it is endlessly recyclable so that when we have extracted enough we can largely stop.

Instead of safeguarding its workers' futures, companies across the United States are funneling retirement savings into risky funds packed with underperforming fossil fuel companies or high-risk businesses like real estate, that can be severely damaged by the impacts of climate change-fueled extreme weather. No matter who you are or how you vote, your retirement should be secure, and this new landmark lawsuit is arguing just that.
