This is potentially diasterous for everyone involved - the family receiving support, the person paying support, the employer providing information in good faith, and the child support professionals trying to establiah or enforce family suppory orders.

And before you tell me he doesn’t mean intelligence like most people already have, if he means the ability to write an email or look up a fact using an actual source, he absolutely does.

Seriously, do what you need to do to protect your credit. This story is about the one kindernazi who was dumb enough to tell someone he had stolen our data, but there were plenty more with thumb drives and hard drives just helping themselves to everything someone would need to steal your identity.

OK so I promised I would revisit how to protect your personal information in light of the news today that the DOGEbags uploaded a ton of people’s information to a cloud server that could be hacked, thanks to an SSA whistleblower. Here’s my original thread from like February, but I have some updates.
