Thankfully he seems pretty upbeat from his Instagram story. My hope is that the very hard experience will help him in the long term. Not that I think we should have put him through it in the first place.

Can you send him to tottenham please? We'll happily take him off your hands
It's making it so hard to stick to my position of not believing in football conspiracy theories...
That would require everyone in charge to admit they made a colossal mistake... Which they won't
It was like if you were to say "let's distill tottenham's whole season into one half of football"
I've just been laughing at it today. That's about all I've got left
It's genuinely concerning that we didn't even seem to test out the pitch and select the right footwear
Giving up on following Tottenham. Going to take ridiculous pictures of my dog instead
I was on a meeting for the first 30 minutes of that game. Had it up on my second screen. Trying to keep an even face while watching a footballing car crash happen was very challenging. Pretty sure I started laughing when number 4 went in
And my dad and brother are now saying we should have kept Frank instead. It's crazy that people can't tell we are in this place because of him
Almost the worst 17 minutes of any professional career
I don't think I've ever seen a team self destruct like we are doing? Not just tonight, but since November/December
Did our players and staff not check the turf beforehand? Literally all of them are slipping
Can someone help me understand why I felt optimistic for this?
Slowly coming round to accepting the devil's deal of winning the Champions League and getting relegated. But does anyone know if a Championship team would be allowed to play in the CL next year?
It's frustrating, my family members are now starting to say this. No, his position was untenable and he should have gone months before he actually did. He broke the players. Just because we haven't picked up in his absence, doesn't mean we should have kept him
I think a win and getting through to the next round would be HUGE for both players and fans. It could give us the confidence to turn things around. OR we win the CL while getting relegated just to see everyone lose their minds
Without relitigating the decision, man do I wonder what would have happened if we'd given a trophy winning manager and the close knit squad vibes to have another season...
Yes we'll unfortunately have to sell, but I'd prefer it to be players like VDV, Cuti, Solanke, etc than the youngsters. I also think the youngsters would be more willing to stay.
If we do go down, you'd think Lange has to go. But I guess you'd think he should have gone already ๐
Obviously this is all opinions, but I would think our best move would be to keep all these promising youngsters and sell the most in demand senior players. Give them a year together to play more games, and build squad chemistry. Then ideally come back up with them being a lot better players
We do have contracts with them all though. Nothing says we have to let them go
Tottenham Hotspur Entertainment Experience Club. The football is being neglected, but the money keeps on rolling in
I missed a key word of think/trust the owners....
I agree that a reset wouldn't be the worst outcome, but do you actually the owners and the others in charge to get anyone capable of doing that rebuild? Every decision they make is awful
For a player that was meant to be all about running, he looks like he's running in quick sand every time I see him on the field for us
Yep. We don't even have the defensive solidity to play low block. Our players don't follow attacking players' runs. It's a recipe for conceding soft goals every game. We need to play to relieve the pressure on the defense
I think that pass was indicative of a team that isn't on the same wavelength. The idea wasn't bad, but the receiving player was caught flat footed rather than coming to the ball. If he came to, it would have opened up the whole field ahead. But instead he got beaten to it by the palace player.
Funnily enough, playing like a side in a relegation scrap got us into the relegation scrap. Can't forgive TF for setting us up like under dogs against the likes of West Ham and Burnley
