Uhh, it was me. π
Was wondering if it's okay to share your fan art of my PS1 cat and Yume Nikki PS on my Twitter (with proper credit, of course!)
Iβm now monetized on YouTube, thanks to my big "How I make PS1 games" video.
(The approval took less than a day. π³)
Go (re)watch my videos now, please.

Hahaha, I'm literally playing Adventures of Lolo 3 on my NES right now.
It's so good.
Thank you βΊοΈ
Woooow.
Thank you so much.
Itβs incredible, Iβm extremely happy. π
It took me 1 month to make this video.
It's 43 minutes and it's jam packed with cool information about how I make PS1 games and how I made Yume Nikki PS.

You can now play the demo of Yume Nikki PS in your browser.
The future is here.

Thank you. :)
It's crt-lottes:

No, everything is written from scratch.
Just using SDL + OpenGL (right now 4.6, but I'll port to 3.3 later).
It emulates PS1 GPU, but otherwise it's all native code.
It should run on any PC which supports OpenGL 4.6 (or even just 3.3, when I go back to 3.3)
The port of Yume Nikki PS to PC is going pretty well!
It runs at 60 FPS and recently I:
- Implemented Silent Hill fog on PC
- Implemented 100% accurate PS1 dithering
- Implemented a CRT shader (you'll be able to turn it on/off).

Now both Vinny and Joel have streamed my Yume Nikki PS1 reimagining.
And they both liked it.
I think I made it... π₯Ή

played ps1 yume nikki today
Yes, if you run it on a CD-R (either you have a mod chipped PS2 or use MechaPwn to run from CD with soft-modded PS2)
Half of it, at least. π
(Didnβt expect the demo to take 1.5 months instead of 2 weeks!)
Canβt say for sure, the emulation of PS1 is not perfect there.
Oh, that one is a part of a BIOS, you canβt change that. π
And then use BootEdit to replace the model in the ISO with your own .TMD file.

Hello.
I will do it as I've seen a few people being disappointed that it's not there...
It would be a bit hard since the memory of sound chip doesn't have pretty much any space left, but I'll figure something out!
Hi.
Can you give me the firmware version, please? :)
I'll add it to the manual/guide.
I want to do Pink Sea, but I feel like it won't be as easy because I want the water to look beautiful, shiny and reflect stuff... :D
I plan to emulate how PS1 GPU functions and do a software renderer - this should be relatively easy - there's no need to do the whole system emulation.
Sadly DuckStation's license is incredibly restrictive, so I can't use its code in any way. PCSX-Redux is more permissive, but its emulation is not perfect, especially in terms of SPU.
I might add some more levels in the future.
The problem is that the most beautiful/popular/wanted levels are also some of the most complicated ones, so they might take more time to do than the two worlds I did (Block World and Snow World).

Also I realized that I didn't post the link in replies... omg π₯²

Thank you so much for all the positive feedback!
