Ah nice, I think mine are long gone. Were there any you have found memories of playing?
Was all about that demo disc life
Excited to try this one. Gives me a sort of 2d shogun showdown vibe.
Hey thanks for checking it out and the nice comments!
We've submitted our #7drl tactical roguelike COLD BREW. It's inspired by Hong Kong action films from the 80s and 90s. Free to play in the browser on itch.io

Awesome visual style. Is it an auto battler of sorts?
Lights! Camera! Action! Setting the scene for #7drl

So you'll have a set number of turns to interact with the guests and then you have to make your prediction?
Healing via Vegemite?
Thank you! I've been building up my engine over the years to specifically be able to crank out turn based roguelikes quickly ๐. Right now the tileset is a hodgepodge of sprites on itch by different artists and some custom tweaks.
#7drl work in progress: trying to get the mechanics right for my cover shooter inspired by 80s/90s Hong Kong action films.

Yes, I'll be participating as well! I read your summary on Reddit today. Best of luck ๐ฅ ๐ป ๐
I don't see why not! One of the best uses I've found for LLMs has been in interactive tutoring and I find it's a underrated, but powerful use case.
Who captured who first ๐ค?
Have fun! Hope I can make it out sometime when I'm in the city.
Hey thanks a lot! I think my sound designer is the real hero there. She did a great job on this one.
Hmm hard to say. I think if it is coded in such a way that the weapons and mines are like a generic "skill" that are modular and can be re-used in any future game, then I think it's ok. My interpretation has always been more on the liberal side though.
Looks cool. Are you going to use these mechanics in 7drl this year?
Good and nice
RE6 is a fun co-op adventure. I'll die on that hill.
The kind of work you never feel like doing, but once you do you are glad you did. it ends up speeding dev time up significantly
I had this same issue last rl jam I did. Map traversal was messed up like 1 in 50 generations and didn't have time to fix it so just made it keep generating and testing until a good one comes up.
It runs pretty great on Ubuntu. Just saying

Whoa that's cool! I'll DM you
last week I took part in the latest edition of LoJam, here is one of three songs I made!

Nivet, you said it. Bought this game thinking it would be something for my girlfriend and I to play for an afternoon and now many, many, MANY hours later we've beaten the game with every character on danger 5. This update is amazing news.
Just when you thought there couldn't possibly be any more balatro inspired rogue-lites... I went ahead and made another one with dice scoring mechanics.

It's been one of my best game jam investments! ( Plus it's very good at making me look like I'm smart and working hard... )
