I thought the same thing at first, too, and then she left the room a couple of times too. Only for a couple minutes at a time but still.
I would have appreciated wandering and learning, not sitting at the desk using the phone.
I just started at the school this year so yes, first time. But the teacher confided in me recently that she might consider leaving and going back to private school or finding something else. I guess I still have that on the back of my mind too. Like she has given up in some ways.
It wasn’t a coaching visit. The teacher invited me to come co-teach/demonstrate a tech tool and that sat at her desk and used her phone for much of the demonstration.
