They're funny. In this edition they work like ground troops but they can scale walls. As opposed to ignoring terrain or flying up them at an angle.
Vehicles who fly are also incomprehensibly weird. They are either way too strong or weak and I can't tell because I don't understand those rules.

I totally understand and agree with that. I would totally love to paint a Yarrick model though. I don't think I want to use him in game, but I'd love even a memorial statue!

I'd love it if they had certain units like their character creator style thing they just released.
Or maybe Kill Teams had a 'simplified' version and a 'wargear' option, like Aeldari Corsairs.

* More fluffy terrain rules
* Not every leader character should keep coming back from the dead. Leave that for Necrons and Angron (people who do it in lore).
* Faction terrain or living spells style stuff like AOS? They are so fun to paint!

11th Edition 40k is likely to be announced soon! Here are my hopes:

* Keep the less complicated toughness chart
* Seperate rules for comp/tournament play and optional rules for casual
* Force organisation INCENTIVES not penalties (take what you like, but boons for limiting what you take)
