Lake Placid, airplane or the Towering Inferno are my go to films. Lake Placid is a nearly perfect creature feature.

I remember doing Remembrance Day church services when I started in cubs. The first few years the WW1 veterans outnumbered the WW2 veterans. I probably started in 1982 cubs in 1982.

It looks like one person has made over 400 FOI requests for all this data, largely from 2018. Interestingly I can’t see one made to the museum of London, but someone might be willing to spend more time searching.

They dug a medieval hospital a few years ago and I thought that was around 100 or so individuals.

Yes I know they excavated a medieval hospital site, but I’m pretty sure that was around 100 individuals. The museum of London does not appear on the list and they must hold a good few hundred from Southwark alone.

Feels somewhat a stretch to describe a flat as rare, river facing when it is that tall and a good half of it faces the river.

Sainsbury’s end of year review

Your 2025 in review
You were the #01 buyer of

kiwi fruit

in Cobham at Sainsbury's. Nobody bought more than you in 2025.

My mother died just before Christmas. I’d been getting her a Sainsbury’s delivery since January 2020 so the year in review was all stuff I got for her.

Iran probably has very few extradition treaties so Andrew MB Windsor could be happy to become shah.

This is already happening. My mother was sent to a private nursing home with an estimated 3 months to death, she lived for two weeks. The care at the nursing home and the staff were wonderful.

I’ve been going round the bereavement teams at many banks and until I got to HSBC they were all great. They made me bring a pile of documents into the branch, kept me eating for an hour and a half, then got the wrong reference number for the death certificate and made me do it all again.
