Might be the last morning cold enough to do some frozen bubble photography.

Plum Island meanderings.

After a couple lackluster winters, this one is still going strong. Several inches of snow yesterday, a much bigger storm tomorrow night, and some very cold weather next week.

For the bubbles, it’s just a straw to blow them.

I use a mixture of water, dish detergent and sugar. It needs to be very cold, teens or below.You dip the cookie cutter in it to get a film, and then wait for the ice crystals to form.
