Difficult to focus on drawing when the pic keeps you being horny the whole time.

Though, of course, by that point, they see the bodies as nothing more than liabilities for them to hide underneath the rubber - which they use to express their true form as part of the collective.
The way i see it, the original personality is hidden underneath years of conditioning and the drones’ alien behaviors / set of values from said conditioning, but still shines through during downtime - it’s simply more efficient for the collective to keep it satisfied than to hide it entirely.
