Mulder’s final scene in Requiem reminds me a bit of the end of “Closure,” and could have been a serene ending for him without the ABH‘s appearance. As you say, it really changes the mood.
I like to watch the Pilot and Requiem back to back - they are such nice book ends! I too thought Jenn was crazy when she suggested this as her favorite series finale, but I think I would put it right behind “Existence” now.

Yeah, Girl Guides has really evolved with the times in a positive way. I was a leader for the past six years, and we had a meeting on what it means to be LGBTQ+, where we invited a drag queen. We participated in several Pride parades and one of our kids was openly non-binary.

I had never studied severe weather before (or written a purely "terrestrial" paper), so I reached out to the Severe Storms Lab. They introduced me to Sophia Slabon, a bright undergraduate student in Geography, and Dr. Connell Miller.
A year and a half ago, I attended an Earth Observation workshop sponsored by @westernuspace.bsky.social. There was a talk about tornadoes that got me thinking - could we detect and characterize tornado tracks with synthetic aperture radar?
