The federal gov’t is expanding Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). It’s considering advanced requests for MAiD for dementia. The gov’t has put out a survey through which Canadians can indicate whether or not this MAiD expansion should be permitted.

Exactly. But many (non-Autistic) academics are writing articles stating that neurodiversity is only about cognitive “differences” which are not considered to be disabilities. How odd to think that! Where did they get this info from?

Where I live it has been proposed that NPs oversee Long term care (nursing) homes. Everyone is fine with it except the doctors are livid. But we have an MD shortage! The solution is easy bc they are already primary care providers. 🙄
