Constant fatigue may signal that the body is expending significant energy to fight the disease. Cancer-related fatigue is often more severe and persistent than regular tiredness and does not improve with rest. It is sometimes one of the earliest signs of cancer.

2. Unexplained loss of >5% body weight should prompt medical evaluation. Cancer can increase the body’s energy expenditure and alter metabolism, leading to weight loss. Cancer related inflammation and release of cytokines can also disrupt appetite regulation and promote muscle and fat breakdown.

If you’ve gone through menopause, any bleeding/spotting should be evaluated.

Else, see your doctor if you experience bleeding between periods, heavy bleeding, or bleeding during sex.
