nominated poet Sumiko Saulson! Check out the title story, an ecokinky mythopoetic erotica flash fiction about pixies doing knifeplay! Or my grimy devotional poetry. Or the essay "My Arrows are as Numerous as Dust, My Shield as Inevitable as Trash"!

We have 5% of the world's population and 25% of its prison population. AND California, the state whose refusal of slavery sparked the Civil War, refused to finish the job of abolition last year

"Political violence has no place in the United States"

Qween, what? We spend more money than any other country in the world on political violence.

Our army gets now money than, what, the next 25 countries on the list combined (prolly more at this point), of which all but one to three are allies.

Has anyone else noticed a rise in algorithms pushing white supremacy? From facebooks relatively subtle inclusion of "pretty white blonde girls oppressed by people of color" stories to YouTube feeding me "why Wolfenstein is anti white" videos, I've definitely noticed an increase of fnords ...

I would be happy if I never heard the name Graham Linehan again, but I do feel the need to comment, because the nature of a lot of the abuse trans people receive is straight up sexual harassment, but is not recognized as such because the victim is trans.

What Glinner is doing is sexual harassment.

I think modern horror (literature, film, games) needs a John Waters-like figure ... If there already one out there? Who is it?

If you think about anything too hard, you'll find it will become religion, horror, erotica, or romance. And if you KEEP thinking about it, you'll realize those four things are one thing.

URGENT: I'm in Seattle, and the poolhouse where my sweety and I are having our wedding reception needs to get cleaned out today of at all freaking possible. It's in South San Jose - can anyone help us out, please?

You know... The more hours I spend in Seattle (been here since Wednesday night) the more I understand why Shadowrun uses Seattle as its focus city....

Why does your favorite IP focus on the city it focuses on?

Does anybody know if there's already a mashup made out there of "California Dreaming" and "California Hotel"?

How long has sex work been around? How often do we see any of those statements about sex?

What about sports?

Poetry and the other arts (well, excluding ttrpgs, since they were the original question)?

Also, that's not what scabs means, unless your suggesting a GM labor movement fighting bosses.

The title story, "Civilization Stained These Young Things," is a dark fantasy about faeries and a dangerous and magical dance as old as time that brings the colors to roses in bloom.
