When my parents would put on a Halloween tea for us and our friends, then jump up at windows wearing an assortment of masks. We carried on pretending to be shit scared well into our teens. Hearing them giggling from outside was something I never wanted to end.
Finally made it onto Bluesky and it's already a much nicer than the *other place*
