An artistic map of a village called Loeyeni, stretched across a chasm in the high crags in the Loeya Valley. Its buildings have all those little wooden struts keeping them standing. The village is near a bunch of falls which roll down from the Luna Springs higher up the mountain, which are themselves fed by a pool on the Moonstone Summit. On the summit, a short walk from the giant crystal that's set on top of the mountain, there is a much simpler shrine on an outcropping.
Sort of drew it as I went, but here's a concept for Kylah's home village, where the Lunari live. If this were a JRPG, you'd probably end up coming here early in the story to get help with something magical.

The full, inky, black and white map for the Sigils books by Rebecca E. Reyes. It shows dozens of cities and landmarks in the Omeran Empire's five territories: Northern Omera, Southern Omera, Province of Alderia, the Kingdom of Delamar, and the Terralia Islands. Navikula has an unnatural fog of war. Omerans don't know what's over there anymore. Only what's just beyond the wall and on the southern shore. Way south is the Singing Woods, hiding Syneth, with lakes on the canopies where the southern border ends. Otherwise, the west is blocked off by mountains and the ocean seems endless, hence why it's called the Endless Ink. Beasts drawn on the map are a kraken in the water, a dragon among the basalt and volcanoes, a harpy automaton at the Navikulan Border Wall, unicorns in the Singing Woods, a calygreyhound in the Valley of the beasts, and a gloom spider in Navikula's void. Sigils of Malice only takes place in the Imperial Capital of Grace. I did not think it needed the traditional map, since the story stands well without it.

Here's our group's new campaign map. Drew this on PC, sprinkling in silly inside jokes and references, then had it printed on canvas for the sake of authenticity, and then painted the finishing touches using gold acrylic. Really happy how well this turned out. #dnd #originalart #fantasymap
