I second this. I lost 3 of my distant relatives in India to Covid. People in India were literally dying and yearning they had mRNA vaccines available to them.

That’s one of the best speeches ever given by anyone! I’ve listened to it so many times that it’s memorized in my head and I can pretty much recite it. Starting with ‘the best way to spot an idiot…’

I lost two of my distant relatives in India to Covid at that time. Deaths were happening everywhere that morgues couldn't accommodate all the dead bodies. They were marveling at US mRNA vaccines and wondering why they weren’t available in India. How times have changed.

100% no. I drink Coke Zero and this is not true at all. Pepsi zero tastes like garbage compared to Coke Zero.

I know for a fact that some people have a refined palate for cola. My former boss could pick out exactly the right can - Coke, Pepsi, diet, zero - you name it. He got all 10 out of 10 on a blindfold test! Unbelievable stuff.

Looks like good news. Until yesterday, the NIH RePORTER page only showed six R43 grants as being awarded since 2/13/25. Today that number changed to 11. Same trend with R41. I think SBIR and STTR grantees are starting to see their NOAs. Thanks @jeremymberg.bsky.social for keeping us up-to-date.
